Over 500 chefs representing all Italian regions (and not only) attended from 22nd to 26th February the fifteenth edition of the International Championships of Italy, held in Carrara.
To win the overall title team was the Apulia Cooking Team, made up of chefs from all provincial associations that are part of the Federation of Cooks from the Puglia Region, which has competed in two tests, the warm and cold kitchen, and has distinguished itself in the other. In addition to “tiella” finger food from seventy grams – a tiny concentrate of rice, potatoes and mussels – the team from Puglia presented colorful reworkings of main dishes of meat, fish and vegetables. And then dessert also innovative, one for all the ice cream with basil.
The theme of the 15th edition of the International Championships of Italy was the “street food”, what is more commonly called “street food.” And, with the winning team, in addition to the typical “tiella barese” finger food version also the cod stuffed with sweet olives and vegetables, beginning with the broccoli.
